Build an expansive, professional-grade wine cellar at home with the side-by-side Transtherm Prestige Double Ermitage Wine Refrigerator (engineered by EuroCave Group). Custom-configured for serious collectors and extensive wine cellars, this double-cabinet setup pairs two full-height Ermitage units side-by-side to deliver an outstanding storage capacity of up to 364 standard Bordeaux bottles.

Featuring two completely independent cooling zones with electronic thermostat controls (43°F to 64°F / $6^\circ\text{C} - 18^\circ\text{C}$), this luxury set allows you to dedicate one full cabinet to long-term red wine maturation at $54^\circ\text{F}$ while setting the other for crisp white wine serving temperatures. Outfitted with Transtherm’s signature integrated heating system (Winter Mode), both cabinets operate seamlessly in ambient room environments ranging from 32°F up to 95°F ($0^\circ\text{C} - 35^\circ\text{C}$)—making it suitable for high-end residential kitchens as well as unconditioned spaces like basements, cellars, and garages.

Key Performance Features & Cellar Preservation

  • Dual Independent Temperature Zones: Dedicated controls per cabinet allow precise, independent cellaring and serving environments for reds, whites, and sparkling wines.

  • Integrated Winter Heating System: Protects valuable vintages against drops in ambient surrounding temperatures down to freezing ($32^\circ\text{F}$).

  • 28 Smooth-Gliding Rolling Shelves: Features 14 full-extension steel-body sliding shelves per cabinet (28 total), trimmed with solid natural wood for smooth, vibration-free bottle access.

  • UV-Protected Double-Glazed Glass Doors: Full glass doors shield delicate wines from harmful light degradation and thermal spikes.

  • Advanced Tri-Mode Visual Alarm System: Continuously monitors and alerts for:

    1. Temperature Sensor Anomalies

    2. Temperature Fluctuation (alerts if internal temp varies by $\pm 7.2^\circ\text{F} / 4^\circ\text{C}$ over 24 hours)

    3. Low Humidity Drops (alerts if humidity drops below 50% for over 3 days)

  • Acoustic & Vibration Protection: Driven by whisper-quiet compressors rated at 37 dB(A) each to maintain ideal conditions and keep wine sediment undisturbed.

  • Multi-Mode White LED Interior Lighting: Soft white LED illumination with 3 selectable modes (Permanent ON, OFF, or Auto-ON upon door opening).

Field Installation & Care Guidelines

  1. 24-Hour Upright Settling: Before powering up for the first time, keep both units standing vertically in place for at least 24 hours to allow internal compressor oils to settle after transit.

  2. Dedicated Circuitry: Connect each wine cabinet to its own grounded electrical circuit outlet to prevent power trips during initial compressor startup cycles.

  3. Ventilation Clearances: Maintain at least 2 inches of rear clearance and 1 inch on the outer sides for effective heat dissipation and airflow.
